53 Days: The evaluation continues...

Dear faithful people of Saint Peter’s,

Now that we are in the "evaluation stage" of mitigation, the rhythm of this process is naturally slowing down. This is good news, because it is a sign that the immediate crisis was well managed, giving us, and the experts, the time they need to properly evaluate and plan our next moves.

Below, you'll find a couple of updates from this week, and this will conclude our weekly emails about the mitigation process. You'll hear from us again sometime in March when we have more to report following the completion of expert reports.

Grace and peace to you,

Jared R. Stahler
Senior Pastor

  • Two remaining drop ceilings on LL2 were removed this week.

  • The small, Italian organ will be picked up by the Organ Clearing House on Monday and brought to the C.B. Fisk workshop in Gloucester, MA, for evaluation.

  • Evaluations by the specialists in the following disciplines mentioned last week -- architecture, environmental hygiene, elevator, geo-structural, and mechanical/electrical/plumbing -- are continuing and we await comprehensive reports.
