This symposium explores the ways in which the Holy Spirit is active within the long and dynamic dialogue between Orthodoxy and a world filled with living, breathing cultures and peoples. Drawing on the lived experience of Orthodox, Roman Catholic, Lutheran and Pentecostal churches; similarities as well as differences will be named and respected with the understanding that these churches — with their various histories and contexts — have grown variously in the same Spirit.

“How does my ____ faith help me deal with these difficult times?” is the question we’re asking Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, and Christian faith leaders to respond to at a series of 10:00 a.m. forums. This Sunday, an Imam will respond to that question. The series will continue on December 16 with Rabbi Rachel Ain of Sutton Place Synagogue.
