Chapel Organ

An Instrument For Small Scale Use

The Chapel of the Good Shepherd houses a Portatif organ built by Johannes Klais Orgelbau of Bonn, Germany. This same builder is responsible for the organ in the Sanctuary of Saint Peter’s Church.

The Chapel organ was given in 2000 by Ace and Margie Clark, in memory of their son, Matthew.

The instrument’s case is of red oak, and coordinates with the furnishing of the Chapel. Its six ranks of pipes and five stops supports singing in the Chapel, and functions well as a continuo organ.
