Appointed texts

The ecumenical Revised Common Lectionary appoints texts in a three year cycle (Years A, B and C). As a commitment to Christian unity, Saint Peter’s follows this cycle. The texts for the Epiphany of our Lord, Year A are:

Isaiah 60:1–6
Psalm 72:1–7, 10–14
Ephesians 3:1–12
Saint Matthew 2:1–12
Liturgy schedule

The Epiphany of our Lord celebrates three revelations of God's majesty in Christ Jesus: the Visit of the Magi, the Baptism of our Lord, and the Wedding Feast at Cana. Saint Peter's celebrates this festival over the course of three consecutive Sundays, January 5, 12 and 19.

A special joint celebration with Iglesia de Sion featuring dance@saintpeters is followed by a festive meal and Epiphany Party / celebracion de los Reyes Magos.
