Three Months Since the Flood

In response to the city water main break that flooded our building on January 4th, we have continued with the necessary next steps of thoughtful planning toward recovery.

Since the last update we shared with you, we have been at work evaluating the loss and damage to our building. In addition to the building itself, this has meant determining the loss to the building’s contents.

While this will surely be a long journey, we want to keep you, our community, updated as we continue to progress.

We are moving forward in faith, hope and love and until further notice we will continue to gather online. We are live streaming services partially from the church and partially from people’s homes. Online programming continues uninterrupted.

  • The Klais organ has been reassembled at the FISK shop and evaluation is underway. Cantor Bálint Karosi will visit the workshop next week.

  • We have received an initial evaluation of the portative organ and the pianos have been evaluated as well.

  • Work is underway on the elevators and experts have been onsite to evaluate the AV systems.

Jason helps pull out the AV wiring for evaluation by the experts.
